During the VII National Conference on Cybersecurity Research (JNIC2022) held in Bilbao and organised by Tecnalia in collaboration with INCIBE and sponsored by RENIC, among other entities, took place from 27th to 29th June.
The conferences were able to get, first hand, the latest developments in cybersecurity research and cybersecurity teaching and educational innovation through different informative sessions, round tables and presentations.
The second day of the conference, took place the IV Edition of the RENIC Awards for the best doctoral thesis and the best master's thesis in cybersecurity took place, with the aim of promoting research in the field of cybersecurity. The winners of this edition were:

During the conference, the venue of the next VIII edition was announced: JNIC2023, which will take place in June in the city of Vigo, co-organised by the atlanTTic research centre of the University of Vigo and Gradiant technology centre with the usual collaboration of INCIBE.
